kita akan mendengarkan album ini berisikan sebuah ucapan selamat tinggal. Sebuah ratapan putus asa? Bisa jadi sebagian besar akan menyangkanya seperti itu. Tapi disisi lain, kita akan mendengarkan sebuah keputusan tentang melupakan, tentang melanjutkan hidup. Inspirasi terbesar album ini memang datang dari sang mantan suami, Deryck Whibley.


Seluruh track dalam album ini ditulis sendiri oleh Avril dan dibantu oleh beberapa nama seperti Max Martin, Shellback, dan Evan Taubenfeld. Sebuah kekuatan yang tidak bisa dianggap remeh. Sedangkan yang menjadi produser adalah Max Martin, Butch Walker, Shellback dan Deryck Whibley. Sedangkan dia menjadi produser pada track 4 Real dan Goodbye yang menjadi klimaks dari album ini. Goodbye for now, Goodbye sunshine, Take care of yourself, sebuah balada yang menjadi inti Goodbye Lullaby. 

Lantas bagaimana dengan sound keseluruhan dari album ini? Kita bisa melihatnya dari 2 garis besar. Pertama, kita akan mengenali tipikal Avril yang paling mentah. Dengan dominasi gitar seperti di track Wish You Were Here ataupun Not Enough, serta dominasi piano lewat track Remember When ataupun Black Star. Track Black Star sendiri dia menjadi istimewa. Dengan dipasang sebagai track pembuka, kita akan memiliki bayangan bahwa sound album ini terasa sangat sederhana, tanpa efek synthesizer ataupun efek lainnya. Serta track ini menjadi soundtrack dari album parfum miliknya.

bicara soal kehidupan kebayang " asekk nya selangit :D "
buat ku belom bs nyimpulin gitu
in my life masih ada godaan yang ngebuat hari berwarna --> warna item, kuning tela, merah muda, merah pekat :P, chek it out :

1. duit aja belom punya, kalo punya aja itu bulanan minta bonyok
2. cinta aja masih cinta monyet (ngeek -_-")
3. ngincer hape" mahal belom saatnya punya #ngiler dulu aja dilla :P
4. mau browsing masih pinjem laptop orang, kalo ada di rumah rebutan ma adek o.o"
5. di rumah pasti jadi korban suruh "bersih-bersih rumah"
6. suruh berpikir maju/dewasa TERBATAS
7. masih jadi kacung sana sini
8. kelakuan masih masa-masa labil
9. se-umuran ku belom bisa bkin SIM, KTP, STNK, or lainnya (ya iyalah odong :O )

dari pagi (jam sekolah) sampe pulang ke rumah lagi
